Nissan maintains that the GT-R is mechanized perfection that could never be improved upon (never mind that V-Spec over there), but that's not going to stop owners from attempting to extract every last bit of performance from Nissan's super coupe.
Enter GT-RR.com, an online distributor specializing in the importation of top shelf kit from Japan. Ben Schaffer, president of Bespoke Ventures, one of the men behind Bulletproof Automotive and blogger at The Real JDM, is behind the new site, bringing almost a decade of tuning experience and over 100 aftermarket components to GT-R owners here in the States. The site is currently in BETA testing, but that doesn't mean that GT-R drivers have to leave "good enough" alone.
GT-RR currently offers a nice assortment of parts – from seats to suspension components and exhausts to wheels – and while Schaffer and his team are currently farming out installation work to other reputable shops in the L.A. area, he's not ruling out a dedicated location for work on the GT-R. According to Schaffer, "Our sole focus is on what we do best. Fast and highly accurate logistics and distribution from Japan to both local tuning shops and directly to the end users." Although the aftermarket, along with the rest of the auto industry, is experiencing a downturn, there's little doubt that GT-R owners will be looking for something to turn up the wick on their rides. Thankfully, GT-RR will be there to answer the call.

i didn't mean GT-RR.com but rather the aftermarket.
it will take some time to crack nissans ecu, etc...
but there are plenty of 700-1100hp R33,34's running around this world.

As long as someone offers a replacement for the trim surrounding the HVAC controls, I'll be happy with the aftermarket selection. This is the only trim piece on the car that looks more bland than a Camry.
They have great gauges, nicely styled vent pods, really awesome controls for the suspension, transmission and traction control settings, yet the HVAC control trim looks like a drilled out cutting board.
I think those looking to mod the GTR will be the ones who passed on the 911 Turbo, and have a pile of cash left over with nothing to do. The majority of buyers will probably stop at an exhaust and some wheels for fear of hurting their car.

If you read up on what Mines has done, with like a cpu reflash, exhaust, and highflow cats you can get 60-70hp which is pretty nuts. I think the transmission becomes the limiting factor if you bump the power up much beyond that though.

Ok, no one has really commented on the site, so much as the drawing of the car on the post. The site is fantastic in terms of their selections of suppliers. In particular, Amuse, Mine's and Top Secret are legendary as GT-R tuners and the fact that you can even get their stuff in the states without having to perform a blood ritual is awesome. For the parts that exist on the site, everything is top notch. The prices are expectedly high, but that's because they're the best for the best and they include all of the handling fees instead of surprising you later. Great work, I hope they expand the lineup as new products are developed. And, as a new GT-R is on the way, I'm gonna have to take another look if you don't mind...

Ben is a sales guy that is big into rumors. Nothing more, no less, just a self proclaimed "JDM expert".

I would assume within about 2mins of people buying these they will have a boost controller on them. Hopefully Nissan planned ahead for that and all the techno mumbo jumbo can handle the power that these cars will be no doubt be making very soon. Couple of 60-1 Hi-Fi turbos and a 75hp shot of spray and you're off to the races Supra-style. Hopefully if you buy that body kit it comes with a 5gal bucket to haul the pieces of front lip home in after the first speed bump tears it off.
