With the complete and utter collapse of Unique Performance, we were wondering who would be taking over the sales and marketing for the Foose Coupe. Not to worry, because Superformance Distribution of Irvine, CA has picked up the reigns and recently delivered its first car through its Hillbank Motor Corporation dealership. This is just the fourth Foose Coupe produced, after the green and black prototypes at the 2006 SEMA show and the first publicly available car that was auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson's Palm Beach auction last year. The owner opted for the 392ci Hemi V8 pumping out around 500 horsepower, and a custom paint scheme featuring carbon fiber spears surrounded by flames hand painted by Chip Foose himself. Check out all the amazing details of this incredible coupe in our huge photo gallery below.

CarbonBlack @ Jul 19th 2008 1:09AM
The "holograms" are from that god awful foam ball he uses.
As far as the car goes, I'd rather have the million mile civic
Go5Go @ Jul 18th 2008 8:11PM
Apparently the rear of the car is so ugly they couldn't even come to provide a picture of it..
Torrent @ Jul 19th 2008 3:04AM
If they don't include it, it probably is.

In what state is it legal to not have fenders?
jaewoo kim @ Jul 18th 2008 9:15PM
i saw the foose coupe in person :]
at the place they built it.
and the engine sounds like a beast!
the interior is sexy, and the carbon fiber body looks super hot! the whole thing is carbon fiber.
i also saw one in a different paint job, the interior was also differnt colors. but i personally liked the red scheme shown here in this article.

The original 392 is one heavy slug. The only heavier block I can think of was a Packard, also used by Nash a couple years. My grandfather had the Nash, with a four speed Hydramatic. I learned about understeer in that rolling motel. It could seat eight, sleep four virginal teens. We got caught in a storm and rode it out overnight in that beast. It started by lifting the shift lever for starter contact. After that broke, we installed a pushbutton on the dash. No key needed. Nobody the wiser, and it went to sleep when the front shock towers rusted away.

Its a sweet looking ride no doubt, but placing"FOOSE" in every nook and cranny kinda ruined it for me.
Nuieve @ Jul 19th 2008 12:06AM
Yeah, sounds like goose, or moose...
BEautiful Prowler though
Artie Lange @ Jul 19th 2008 12:01AM
That is the exact shirt I'd expect the owner of a car like that to be wearing. It screams, "Hey everybody! I just won the lottery! Look at my auto-mo-bile!"
Banky Edwards @ Jul 19th 2008 7:08AM
That's Chip Foose himself.
tankd0g @ Jul 19th 2008 8:52AM
I think he's dressed in memory of Boyd Cottington. Either that or bondo and money combine to make a gas that causes people to wear Hawaiian shirts and sandals in photo shoots.
Artie Lange @ Jul 19th 2008 10:32AM
That's most certainly not Chip Foose. I'd recognize that Corky doupleganger anywhere.
RLQ @ Jul 19th 2008 2:35AM
What the prowler should of been.
erik @ Jul 19th 2008 8:17AM
I've always loved the Prowler.
nighttime @ Jul 19th 2008 10:21AM
I don't know about you, but that guy looks like he's ready for a trip to Sizzlers.
Artie Lange @ Jul 19th 2008 11:34AM
He sure is! Table for one.
kwsdurango @ Jul 19th 2008 2:23PM
What a mess of conflicting styles - open wheel, hot rod front end, raked windshield. Bet it is fun to drive in the rain (and dirty). I looked at all the photos searching for something to like and couldn't find anything. Even the seats, which look okay, would be uncomfortable when wearing the seat belts - choke...
