click above to high-res gallery of Acura NSX spy shots
The spy shots we showed you earlier of an Acura NSX prototype on the street were taken in Germany near the famed Nurburgring test track. Of course, any prototype driving around the 'Ring will eventually be driving on the 'Ring, and so it was today for Acura's future supercar. KGP photographers snapped the NSX prototype being driven hard around the Green Hell, so much so that the car's left-front wheel catches air at one point during hard cornering. There are many more angles and views of the next NSX in our gallery below that should allow you to see the car's form through its heavy camo paint even better.

KGP Photography:
Here are some new shots of the NSX, doing some hot laps on the 'Ring (along with another set heading back to its facility). The new shots all have their own charms, and each reveals something new, thanks to the different angles and lighting. One particularly intense track shot has the NSX raising its front wheel under hard cornering.

it reminds me of the lexus
zamafir @ Jun 17th 2008 8:11PM
yup, and i'm not caring for what we can see of that front and rear end, to narrow, to much like a slightly larger s2000, and those accord esc tails... eep.

Give this person a cookie. He/she has x-ray vision and can see through heavy camo and obvious add-ons to throw off the naked eye. :)
I wonder if the wench was able to get a video. I'd like to hear what's under that hood and hear what's going on with the transmission.

ITT: fanboys.
Matt @ Jun 17th 2008 9:46PM
No offense, but why would you want to be a fanboy of Acura OR Lexus? If I'm spending $40,000+ on a car, I'm buying a German or English car, or a CTS, not some ghetto wanna-be Camry junk.
Have you SEEN the IS-350? That thing IS a Camry, they don't even TRY to hide it. And the Camry is gross.
GROSS.
tankd0g @ Jun 17th 2008 10:49PM
Matt, do you understand the difference between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive? You're Big Wheel is front wheel drive.
aaron @ Jun 17th 2008 10:48PM
Hey Matt,
I agree with you, and the IS-250 is a base Camry (yet with rear-wheel drive) with no performance what so ever. Perfect for college-age girls looking for brand but no substance. Or it's perfect for the fanboys above. Ha!
Hike15 @ Jun 17th 2008 11:26PM
um matt...the es350 is camry based not the is
true that the is lacks performance but the only lexus that really has any is the is-f
Ultima @ Jun 18th 2008 1:35AM
i second that. from other angles this thing looks almost like the LF-A
dude @ Jun 20th 2008 12:28AM
Matt
German and English cars are good cars, fact is though they are so overrated, especially English cars (Bentley).
wtf kind of name is flying spur? sounds like sonic the hedgehogs sidekick. and the CTS? come on now, if I'm going to spend 40k on a car I want a car that's going to last me at least 30k miles without having to goto the shop 2x a month, because we all know what american manufacturing did to the TL, TSX and the Camry.
Basically, your ignorance is overwhelming.
Torrent @ Jun 17th 2008 8:05PM
Ok. How do you know it's an Acura? It could be the Subaru coupe or a Tata for all we know.
zamafir @ Jun 17th 2008 8:12PM
I guess Subaru could have a bunch of civics at their garage...
Aprime @ Jun 17th 2008 8:22PM

By your logic, it could also be a Bimmer.
zamafir @ Jun 17th 2008 8:32PM
yes yes, two brand new hondas, at what has already been identified as the honda facility in other posts, and a tired bimmer... my logic is totally flawed, google research regarding 'ring shops and common sense be damned, captain semantics wins again. I salute u sir.
Aprime @ Jun 17th 2008 8:34PM
Well, perhaps next time you should explain your logic further rather than simply pointing out the fact that it's stopping at a shop with two Civics.
You don't have to be so cocky.
JD @ Jun 17th 2008 8:40PM
Well, he's got a point. There are 2 brand new civics next to an E36. Who is going to use a 2 generations old car as a comparison for anything? And I mean, technically, using his logic, odds are 2 to 1 that it's a Honda facility. Just saying.
Aprime @ Jun 17th 2008 8:49PM
Well, it could've been any garage.
I don't know, I don't spend enough time jerking over the Nurburgring and its supposed... Okay, proven awesomeness. :P
Torrent @ Jun 17th 2008 9:23PM
an example: a vehicle of what seems to be the 2010 cobalt was spied testing at a kia/ hyundai facility-for some reason.
My point: stuff like that could happen, and I think it just did.

It has the same wheels and exhaust as the S2000-looking test mule from a few months ago:
