He usually spends his time behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger, but recently Samuel Hübinette made an exchange for something with a lower roofline. Lamborghini asked him to take a seat in a 2009 Gallardo for the filming of a European-market commercial set on the streets of Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Blowing tire smoke for the camera is nothing new to Sam since his blue Mopar-mobile has been featured in many a BF Goodrich tire commercial. Unlike the Charger though, the Gallardo isn't quite the towering elephant. It is also equipped with all wheel drive, a feature that requires a bit more driving finesse in order to pull off an extended slide. Look for the spot to hit YouTube sometime in the not too distant future. Also follow the link to see a few more of Sam's photos from filming.
Thanks for the tip, Eric!

The new Gallardo looks amazing in black! I'm interested in seeing how this commercial turns out.

Oh boy, the new Gallardo is sooo good looking.

the new tail looks nice
as for the front, maybe they shouldn't have shortened the headlights
it looks a lot less fierce, that's for sure.

I really like that new Lambo, but the wheels are just awful.

those headlight LED strips look like they came out of the Predator movies.

Looks badass, but about the same as the last gallardo imo.

I agree with Eddie, I wish they used the old style black wheels. Check out these 560's at Lambo Las Vegas: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129416
thanks for posting my tip AB, I can't wait for the completed video. I will keep my eyes peeled.

I love the original Gallardo with a passion. This new version is taking a while to grow on me. The new Reventon inspired front seems too aggressive and a little out of place in relation to the rest of the car. The designers then switched things up and went very conservative for the rear. I'd be interested to know what Luc Donckerwolke thought about this new take on his original design.

Correction! Upon further review, I'm thinking this new front end draws more inspiration from the Gallardo Concept S (2005) which was designed by Luc Donckerwolke. Doh!!! For what it's worth, I think the Concept S front looks much better than the new Gallardo's.

OK. Upon even further review, I've decided the new front combines certain design elements from the Reventon AND the Concept S.
I'll go away now. :)

Funny... I thought I'd read shock that Dodge's Factory Drifter was throwing around a Lambo... but based on the reader comments....
... Dodge shouldn't be pissed either!!! :) :) :)
