We're not exactly sure why this Dodge Challenger is drifting around this empty parking lot, but we don't really care. Any time someone has no regard for the longevity of rear tire tread in the name of smokey fun is fine with us. Only the car in this video seems to be lacking a limited slip differential. Peg Leg burnouts FTL.

The charger couldnt even spin its tires. And the challenger when all three were lined up hardly could either. All thanks to the wonderful technology known as a "Slush Box". One also has to wonder if it has a limited slip in back, as for about 90% of that, only one tire was spinning.
Now don't get me wrong, its a great car. It just happens to be a great car that was ruined by the transmission choice.

Well Stuka you're in luck because they start building them with Tremec manual transmissions this this summer for the 2009s.

This is at a Chrysler training event in Detroit. They put these on for the salepeople in the different business centers around the US. It was most likely for the launch of the Journey. At the launch of the Journey here in the Mid-Atlantic Business center they had a Charger SRT8, Caliber SRT4 and the Viper SRT10. All of which were able to perform some great burnouts, the best of which was actually the SRT8... so I think in this video, the guy driving the Charger was just having a bad day...

muscle cars are never coming back, or at least not like this!!! who got those drivers??? not even the burnouts were good!!! and during the whole "drift" part...god, the whole chassis looked like it was going to bend right on the middle...no LSD? ...gees...so sad. they bring the challenger back!!! but then the hachi roku and the silvia not?!?!?! a hachi roku with no more than 125 HP can do better burouts and drifts...ok, prolly it was the drivers...it hurts to see all that money trown at a problen that has no solution. kill the muscle car it's done for.
